Environment
Bridget is a sophomore studying animal sciences and linguistics at Louisiana State University. As an aspiring global health veterinarian, she aims to promote ecological balance, mitigate human-wildlife conflicts, and encourage environmentally sustainable livestock management. In her home state of Louisiana, Bridget leads wetlands education activities and has written a book highlighting her state’s endangered species. She’s passionate about making conservation issues accessible to the public and expanding environmental literacy. As a student researcher, she is currently working on a project with invasive carp fish. Her favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors are on horseback or in a kayak, and she loves to read and write poetry.
