Eric is a junior at Central Michigan University, majoring in biology, and public and nonprofit administration. Eric created and co-directs the CMU office of sustainability, Central Sustainability, which supports numerous environmentally and socially conscious sustainability projects. He wrote CMU’s Sustainable Purchasing Guidelines, is the CMU Campus Race to Zero Waste Administrator, interned with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, and serves on the Board of Trustees for RecycleMania Inc. Through community outreach, data management, collective organizing, and education, he hopes to implement sustainable materials diversion systems at local, state, and national levels. In his free time, Eric bikes, golfs, hikes, and plays the drums.
