Eve grew up in Sterling, Alaska, and is an environmental studies major at Northwestern University. She is committed to creating an equitable transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy and strengthening energy security in Alaska and the Arctic. Eve has been involved in environmental advocacy for the past six years, working on issues such as Pebble Mine, emissions reductions, and renewable energy development in Alaska. As an Arctic Youth Ambassador, Eve built awareness about life in the Arctic. Eve is also passionate about local food and energy security and sits on the Cook Inlet Keepers Board of Directors.
