Anna is an environmental studies major at Hamilton College with a focus on food system sustainability. She became interested in the intersection of food and environmental issues while spending a year in France during high school. At Hamilton, Anna leads an on-campus food salvage program and serves as a co-leader of the Hamilton Sustainability Coordinators. Most recently, Anna led an environmental gap analysis of campus dining operations. This summer she will return to her native Maine to conduct research on sustainable seafood at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute. Anna enjoys exploring farmers’ markets wherever she goes.
