Isabell is pursuing a civil engineering degree at the University of Washington in Seattle and is passionate about improving communities through infrastructure. She is a member of American Indian Science and Engineering Society and has participated in the First Nations Rocket Launch. Isabell currently interns at Koniag Inc., her regional Alaska Native Corporation, and has previously interned at Afognak Native Corporation, her village Alaska Native Corporation. She is an officer for Canoe Family at UW, a student organization created to bring Pacific Northwestern Indigenous Canoe Culture to Indigenous students at UW. In her free time, Isabell loves to explore the outdoors and be with her friends and family.
