Roxy is Ojibwe from the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. She is studying social work, American Indian and Indigenous studies, and race and ethnicity in the U.S. at Michigan State University. Currently, Roxy works in the Native American Affairs and Race Equity Office for the Child Services Agency in the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. She serves as the co-chair for the North American Indigenous Student Organization and as a board member of the Michigan Indian Education Council. She is also the project lead for a research lab which analyzes racial representation in U.S. history textbooks. In her free time, Roxy loves to bead.
