Beth Monroe

Elizabeth Monroe serves as the Udall Foundation's Communications Program Manager and has primary responsibility for the communications requirements of the agency. She creates, reviews, edits, approves, and/or organizes internal and external agency communications products and materials in support of the agency’s mission delivery and operations; identifies opportunities and makes recommendations to agency and program leadership for new or improved communications approaches, processes, and procedures, consistent with Federal Government requirements and best practices; and participates as a member of the Executive Office team, which includes the Executive Director, General Counsel, Administrative Officer, and Operations Coordinator. Prior to serving as the Communications Program Manager, she worked as the Executive Assistant to the Udall Foundation from January 2002 through June 2022. Beth came to the Udall Foundation, and Tucson, after living and working in New York City for 14 years. She worked for Carnegie Corporation of New York, a nonprofit educational foundation, for approximately 11 of her 14 years in New York City.

Beth earned a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College.
