Jonathan J. Szeto

Jonathan is majoring in earth science and political science with minors in chemistry, classical studies, and sustainability & environmental management. Committed to addressing environment health issues caused by pollution, he has interned at both the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. State Department. Recently elected to Phi Beta Kappa, on campus Jonathan conducts research analyzing air pollution in Philadelphia’s subway, volunteers at the Philadelphia Zoo, and teaches classes on earth science and environmentalism in West Philadelphia schools. In his free time, he enjoys watching nature documentaries, visiting zoos and aquariums, and experimenting with vegetarian recipes.
